Santa Barbara it's an over 200nm airport. 3 hrs one trip. Shooot. That's far. Yet it's a beautiful city. And a beautiful memory too.
ATIS reported 500ft few and a haze ceiling. We use RWY 25 and DME approach to come in. Oh damn it's so close to my first REAL MISSAPPROACH. I bet I didn't see the RWY on the last sec of decision altitude. My hand is about to pull the power back in. And then Samuel called "Runway in sight !" What a dramatic landing !
The other fun thing is if you get fuel in the FBO. Such as Signature this time in a certain airport. You can get a free "crew car" for 4 hrs. And its totally free. Today we get a Mustang!
Heading to the beach!! (After 3 hrs of flying actually I'm a little bit sleepyyy...)

There are many groups of people playing beach volleyball with BIKINI !
Today's airport restaurant choice : Elephant restaurant !
BTW... Being a pilot in command you have to be prepared all the time. Minimum take of requirement. In case of IFR weather coming in ...
